Houyu Wu, Haiyang Ni, Wenfu Luo, Tenglong Wu

Synopsis

Develops and validates the 22-item AI Dependence Scale across four dimensions (emotional, functional, cognitive, loss of control) using two independent samples of 400 Chinese undergraduates. EFA/CFA confirm the four-factor structure with strong reliability. Identifies male students, upper-year students, applied-major students, and frequent users as higher-risk populations.
