ChatGPT Versus Expert Feedback on Clinical Reasoning Questions and Their Effect on Learning: A Randomized Controlled Trial

RCT with 129 first-year medical students across three formative urinary-tract-infection tests comparing AI vs expert feedback. Overall performance was comparable, though expert feedback proved superior for complicated cases. The AI-exposed group also exhibited a significantly more critical stance toward AI after the experiment.
