Assessing Medical Students' Attitudes, Performance, and Usage of ChatGPT in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Synopsis

Cross-sectional survey of 420 Saudi medical students (Mar–May 2024); 84.3% had heard of ChatGPT and 74.9% had used it. Higher GPA and senior year correlate with greater awareness and performance. Ethical and data-security concerns remain prominent alongside generally positive attitudes.
